Stephen began serving on staff at Valley View in February 2016. His area of ministry involves management of finances, church office, personnel, facilities, church security, and missions. Stephen enjoys the opportunity to work with many different groups of people in the church and loves the way VVBC serves the local community and our missionaries around the globe. He and his wife Jenifer have three sons, Fulton, Turner and Mason. He graduated from the University of Mobile with a B.S. in Religious Education and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Church Administration and previously served at First Baptist Church in Wilmer, AL since 2001. 

Drew joined our staff in February 2014. He and his wife Lori have four children, two daughters, Ava Drew and Annie, and two sons, Case and Cole. Drew is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has earned his B.A. in Christian Ministry, Masters of Pastoral Ministry, Masters of Discipleship, and Doctor of Ministry all from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Drew’s focus area of ministry is community and he leads our Bible Study groups as well as D-Groups. He has a passion for connecting with people and desires to connect people more deeply to Jesus, each other and the church.

Tina's passion is for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! She loves to read and enjoys teaching children and adults about God’s great love. To her, there is no greater joy than seeing someone accept Christ and become a Christ follower. Tina, her husband, Doug, and daughter Hannah, have been members of Valley View Baptist Church since 2006. It was at Valley View where her daughter Hannah accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized. She and her family love the church and all participate in various ministries within the church.

Taylor has been serving as Student Minister at Valley View since October 2017. He graduated with a master's degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Linlee, love students and want to help them know Christ and equip them with skills necessary to become leaders in their schools and communities and make an impact for the Kingdom.

Sharon is a native of Tuscaloosa and attended the University of West Alabama where she received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Sharon began serving on staff in April 2012 as Children's Ministry Assistant and became Director of Royal Family in August 2013. God has richly blessed her with wonderful children and beautiful grandchildren. Sharon has been a member of Valley View since 2007. Prior to joining staff she retired from serving as an Elementary Educator for the public school system. 

Amanda joined the staff in January 2019. She has two beautiful daughters, Belle and Brooklyn. She graduated with an Associate's degree in accounting. Amanda's background and passion is found in working with individuals with special needs and allowing their abilities to be seen by all. Before becoming COF Director, Amanda worked in the ABA field as a therapist.

Leslie joined our staff in July 2017. Here at Valley View, her area of ministry involves working to maintain daily operations of church finances, as well as providing support in church administration through things such as the church calendar and facilities management. Leslie and her husband Drew have a daughter, Griffin, and love serving on our Guest Services team as door greeters. 

Bethany began serving as Media & Communications Director in February 2019. At Valley View, Bethany works to consistently communicate the mission and vision of the church through our online and social media presence, video, photo, and design. She holds degrees from the University of Alabama in Telecommunication & Film and Digital Media. Bethany has also served with other organizations including the Tuscaloosa County Baptist Association and the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. She and her husband Sam love watching movies and enjoy spending time with their dogs, Reese and Pete.

Amy joined the Valley View staff in January of 2010. She and her husband Jason have two children, MacKenzie and James Robert. Amy has a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Montevallo. Here at Valley View, Amy assists Bro. Billy with the deacon’s ministry and other ministry needs. She also works in all aspects of the worship ministry; choir, tech, praise team, etc.

Tonya began serving as the Children’s Ministry assistant in February of 2023. Prior to this, she was a teacher at Valley View’s Weekday Preschool. Tonya’s passion for teaching children and nurturing their spiritual growth led her to embrace the role of Children’s Ministry assistant wholeheartedly. After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2008, she married her husband, Holt. Together, they have three children, Peyton, Braxton and Emery.
