WHAT TO EXPECT
FIRST-TIME GUESTS
If this is your first time with us, we would love to connect with you! Come see us at the Welcome Center in The Commons, our main lobby. There you can find our Welcome Team and they can answer any questions you may have or point you in the right direction. You can also stop by our Coffee Station for some free coffee!
CONNECTION POINT
You can also come by Connection Point after worship services. Our pastor would love to meet and chat with you! Connection Point is designed for first-time guests, people seeking prayer and those interested in making a decision for Christ. KIDS ACTIVITES
Activities for infants through pre-K are located downstairs in the D Building. Activities for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are located upstairs in the D Building. If you would like to connect with our Kids Ministry, email cmatheny@valleyviewtuscaloosa.com.
STUDENT ACTIVITES
Student Bible Studies take place at 9:00 am and are located in the C Building, which includes the Refuge, Refuge Cafe, and the floor above the Refuge. If you would like to connect with our Student Ministry, email tmorton@valleyviewtuscaloosa.com.
WHERE DO I PARK?
There are guest parking spaces near the church main entrance located in the lot facing Highway 69 S. In addition, there is regular parking in the lots facing Old Greensboro Rd and Southview Ln.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Attire at Valley View ranges from suits to blue jeans. We're happy to see you whether you're dressing up or going casual.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
God's Word is the foundation and guide for all we believe, teach and practice. Our purpose is to act out The Great Commission by reaching and teaching about the transformational power of Jesus Christ.
CORE VALUES
WORSHIP
We want every person involved in our church to experience corporate worship where Jesus is glorified.
COMMUNITY
Our "big" church becomes a small community when you get involved in a Bible Study group with people that are in your same basic stage of life. Prayer becomes more personal in Bible study groups as you share life together with all of its successes and failures.
DISCIPLE
We want to make disciples, and we have a specific plan in place to help you grow in your personal walk with Christ, so you can then replicate yourself by helping someone else grow. This is achieved through the reading of God's Word and very personalized prayer in a D-Group that meets weekly.
SERVE
We believe every person is gifted for the edification of the whole Body of Christ. We want you to serve The Lord whether on a short-term mission trip or through the ministries of our church. We want to reach people by serving The Lord selflessly by using our spiritual gifts.
