Local. Global. Eternal.

At Valley View, we believe it is the privilege and responsibility of the local church to fulfill the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. The Great Commission involves evangelizing the lost and making disciples through the transformational power of Jesus Christ.

Practically speaking, we strive to fulfill the Great Commission in several ways:

Serving - Volunteers from Valley View serve in various ministries including Royal Family Kids, Tuscaloosa Soup Kitchen, Operation Christmas Child and Choices Pregnancy Center. Valley View volunteers are also involved in short term mission trips to participate in construction projects, medical missions, evangelism and discipleship.

Giving - Valley View designates a portion of its annual budget to mission support. We partner with local ministries such as Choices Pregnancy Center, West Alabama Food Bank, Good Samaritan Clinic and many others to help meet the needs of the surrounding community. We also provide financial support to several oversees missionaries to support the work of the Gospel all around the world.

Whether we are serving a LOCAL ministry in our community or on a GLOBAL trip to share the love of Christ, we are being the hands and feet of Jesus and making an ETERNAL impact on those around us.
