  • David Jenkins, Worship pastor

    David joined the Valley View staff in June of 2013. He is married to Jennifer and has 3 children, Drew, Eli, and Ali. David graduated from Carson Newman University with a B.M. in Church Music. David traveled for several years singing and leading worship. As a songwriter, David has had many of his songs published and recorded. David joins Valley View from First Baptist Concord in Knoxville, TN. Click here to contact David.



  • Drew Dockery, pastor of education and spiritual growth

    Drew joined the Valley View staff in February of 2014. He and his wife Lori have two daughters, Ava Drew and Annie, and two sons, Case and Cole. Drew earned his B.A. in Christian Ministry and Masters of  Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Drew has a passion for connecting with people.   • sharon callahan, RFK & Senior Adult director

    Sharon Callahan is a native of Tuscaloosa, Al. She attended West Alabama University where she received a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Sharon began serving on staff in April of 2012 as Children's Ministry Assistant and became Director of Royal Family in August of 2013. God richly blessed her with three wonderful children; Jason, Leslie, and Anna Marie and three beautiful grandchildren: Hailey, Brody and Landon. Sharon has been a member of Valley View since 2007.   • Stephen Dees, Church Administrator/Missions Coordinator

    Stephen joined the Valley View staff in February 2016. He and his wife Jenifer have three sons, Fulton, Turner and Mason. Stephen graduated from the University of Mobile with a B.S. in Religious Education and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Church Administration. Stephen comes to Valley View after serving at First Baptist Church in Wilmer, AL since 2001. Click here to contact Stephen.

  • terri hunnicutT, director of weekday preschool & TRAC

    Terri and her family have been members of Valley View since 1997. She has directed the Weekday Preschool since January 1998. ‘Ms. Terri’ is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Child Development and Human Studies. Besides managing the daily routine of Valley View Preschool, she assists other churches in developing their own plans for starting weekday preschools. She also enjoys doing training both here and all over the state of Alabama for both preschool teachers and directors. Terri and her husband Ronnie have four children Erika (Trent), Lindsey (Mark), Tyler (Ashley) and Haley Grace. She and Ronnie also love spending time with their five grandchildren: Luke, Evan, Audrey, Patton and Anne Hollis. Terri’s life verse is James 1:27. Click here to contact Terri.

    Tina Robertson is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and attended the University of Alabama and Shelton State Community College where she received an Associates Degree in Accounting. Her passion is for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! She loves to read and enjoys teaching children and adults about God’s great love! To her there is no greater joy than seeing someone accept Christ and become a Christ follower. Tina, her husband, Doug, and daughter Hannah, have been members of Valley View Baptist Church since 2006. It was at Valley View where her daughter Hannah accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized.   • Erin Treadwell, media and communications coordinator

    Erin joined the Valley View staff in March 2015. She is married to Brad and has two daughters, Iris and Elle. Erin graduated from Auburn University with a degree in English and the University of Alabama with a degree in Public Relations. She taught English for two years at Flomaton High School in Flomaton, AL before becoming the development director at UCPWA in Northport. Erin is currently pursuing her masters degree from the University of West Alabama.
